Compliance documents, built from your site's real data
Most document tools hand you a blank questionnaire and a template you then have to keep current forever. ConsentPixel scans your site first and generates five documents from what it actually finds — then keeps the cookie declaration synced, flags when a document needs updating, and hosts it at a link that stays current. A disclosure that matches your real site, and stays that way.

These documents are disclosures, not protection. Generating a privacy policy doesn't make your site lawful — it describes what your site does with data. We build them from a real scan so the description is accurate, and keep them in sync so they don't quietly go stale. That's the honest value: true disclosures, kept current. Not a compliance guarantee.
current
Five documents, one scan
Everything is generated from the same source — your site's real scan data plus your business details — so the documents are consistent with each other and with your actual site:
What you collect, why, and visitors' rights — with an optional data-request (DSAR) link built in.
Governing law, plus paid-plans, user-accounts and user-generated-content clauses where they apply.
A plain-language, per-category explanation of the trackers found on your site.
The live tracker inventory — it syncs to your latest scan and flags drift ("new trackers since last sync").
GDPR Article 28, plus FADP, POPIA and Standard Contractual Clauses — often gated elsewhere, included here.
What makes it different
The document types themselves aren't unusual — plenty of tools generate a privacy policy. The difference is in four things most generators don't do:
The documents reflect the trackers actually running on your site — not a list you have to remember. If it's on your site, it's in your documents; if it isn't, it isn't. That's what keeps the disclosure accurate.
The cookie declaration re-syncs to your latest scan and flags drift explicitly — "new trackers since last sync" — instead of silently changing or silently going stale.
One checkbox adds a Data Subject Access Request section and link to your privacy policy, wired to a real request route — so visitors have a working way to exercise access and deletion rights, not a dead "email us" line.
When a document template is updated for a regulation, ConsentPixel flags an "update available" — but only on documents where that regulation applies, so you're not nagged about changes that don't affect you.
Publish once, keep it in sync
Every document can stay a private download, or become a live, hosted page — your choice:
- Download the document and paste it into your site — a frozen copy you fully control.
- Publish to a hosted ConsentPixel page and link it from your footer with a copy-paste snippet. When you regenerate or re-sync, the live page updates at the same URL — no re-pasting across your site.
On Growth and Agency plans, you can go a step further and serve those hosted pages from your own custom document domain, so the policy lives on your brand rather than ours.
When you publish, you remain the controller of your own content. ConsentPixel hosts the page and keeps the clauses it tracks in sync — but you're responsible for the accuracy of your business inputs and for reviewing updates before they go live. Publishing is in your hands, always; nothing changes on your public page without you choosing to republish.
Where it fits with the rest of ConsentPixel
The document generator isn't a standalone utility bolted on the side — it runs on the same scan engine as everything else ConsentPixel does. That's what makes the honest positioning real: you can generate the policy, then use the scanner and consent tools to make your site actually behave the way the policy says. The document describes your site; the rest of ConsentPixel helps make the description true. A disclosure and the means to stand behind it, in one place.

Document generator FAQ
What documents can ConsentPixel generate?
Five: a privacy policy, terms & conditions, cookie policy, cookie declaration, and a data processing agreement (DPA). All are built from your site's actual scan data and your business details, rather than a blank template you fill in from scratch.
How is this different from a template generator?
Template generators start from a blank questionnaire and produce a static document you're then responsible for keeping current. ConsentPixel builds from a real scan, keeps the cookie declaration synced with drift alerts, flags when a document needs updating after a regulation change, and can host the document at a URL that stays in sync. And it never claims to make you compliant — a document is a disclosure, not protection.
Which plans include the document generator?
Document generation is included from the Starter plan (from $8.99/site per month). Custom document domains — hosting documents on your own domain — are available on Growth, Agency Lite and Agency Pro. You can run the free site scan without any account.
Do the documents update when the law changes?
When a document template is updated for a regulation, ConsentPixel flags an "update available" on affected documents — but only where that regulation actually applies, so a CCPA change won't nag a GDPR-only policy. You review and republish, and you stay in control of what publishes. This is information, not legal advice.
Can I host the documents on my own domain?
Yes, on Growth and Agency plans. Each document can be published to a hosted page, and higher plans let you serve those pages from your own custom document domain. You remain the controller of your own content; ConsentPixel hosts and keeps the clauses it tracks in sync.
